The dance
I started dancing at the age of four – an encounter that could probably be described as love at first sight. Or perhaps it was dance that never let me go?
Whether love is the right word, I don't know. But its diversity, its intensity, the pain, the joy, and the never-ending fire that burns within me and drives me – all of this makes dance an indispensable part of my life.
For me, dance is a gift, a passion and an obligation – it has been entrusted to me to live it, share it and carry it out into the world. I cannot say why it is dance in particular. But I have never questioned it. It is part of me, as natural as the soul residing in my body.
Dance is about making movement tangible: getting my blood racing, filling the space with energy, and breathing life into it, if only for a moment. Every time new. Every time different. And yet always profoundly real.
